# RankScope

> RankScope is an AI visibility platform for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). It tracks
> whether AI engines cite your brand when someone asks a question in your category, and shows
> you what changed when they stop. It covers four engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews,
> Perplexity, and Google AI Mode.

RankScope captures the response a real person sees in their browser, not API output. API
responses differ from the live product — they are often sanitised, truncated, or missing
citations — so browser capture is what makes the citation data match what customers actually see.
